Jon P. Stonehouse

Jon P. Stonehouse is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive who has served as CEO and Director of BioCryst Pharmaceuticals [BCRX], since January 2007. With over two decades of experience at major pharma companies such as Merck KGaA, AstraZeneca and Merck & Co., he has led BioCryst through the transition from research-stage into a commercial biotechnology company. He oversaw strategic licensing, global business development and commercialization efforts and has guided BioCryst’s growth into the rare disease therapeutic arena.
